Root Canal Treatments:

If you suffer from tooth ache that does not go away or is intermitant, or have sensitivity to cold, hot or sweet liquids or food then you probably have an infection in the soft dental pulp known as the Root Canal area. Some people even get a swollen face. Our Dentists will remove the infected pulp and clean the root canals. The tooth is then left for several weeks while a medicament is placed inside and the tooth settles and heals. After this the root canal is filled and sealed to prevent any more infection as the nerves have effectively been removed.

Crowns:

Patients may need a crown for a number of different reasons. It can be due to a cracked badly broken or decayed tooth. Crowns are placed over the affected tooth to restore its shape and equally its strength. Crowns can be made to match your existing tooth colour.

Bridges:

These can be used to replace teeth to restore your smile and improve your ability to chew or speak. Teeth will start to drift or move in your mouth if you are missing teeth. A Bridge will maintain proper facial shape and distribute pressure during the chewing of food. They are the quickest method to replace missing teeth as opposed to an Implant.

A Bridge is used to replace one or more missing teeth by using the teeth either side of the space to support the prosthetic tooth. A Crown is attached to each side of the Bridge by anchoring them onto existing teeth to hold the Bridge in place . A Bridge can be made of metal or porcelain or a combination of both materials.

 Dentures:

People get Dentures for a  variety of reasons. Most commonly to improve their appearance. If people are missing some or all of their teeth they often look older and their faces look  shorter and more hollow. People need dentures so they can feel less self conscious about  they way they look or speak. They can also start enjoying a greater variety of food. They start to feel more comfortable about smiling and laughing.
